Appraisal Systems
Appraisal systems must be effective: they must be objective; improve performance; motivate staff and monitor the effectiveness of the appraisal and the system. Time consuming appraisal systems are generally the result of a lack of objectivity towards the purpose of appraisal and the intended outcomes of the appraisal.
